Nominacije za Oscara 2021. su napokon stigle! Nakon odgađanja 93. godišnje dodjele zbog pandemije koronavirusa, Akademija je u ponedjeljak otkrila ovogodišnje nominacije. Nominacije iz 23 kategorije objavili su Nick Jonas i Priyanka Chopra putem live streama koji se emitirao globalno.
Ove godine konkurencija je bila velika. Prošli mjesec Akademija je objavila da je čak 366 filmova sudjelovalo u utrci za izbor u kategoriji Best picture, odnosno za najbolji film, od kojih su 344 filmovi od prošle godine. Ipak, nakon prebrojavanja nominacijskih glasova, Akademija je suzila izbor na samo njih nekoliko koji su trenutno u utrci za glavnu nagradu.
Za proglašenje pobjednika, filmoljupci će morati pričekati do same dodjele koja će se održati u subotu, 25. travnja, a live prijenos će se prenositi na HRT programu.
